And yet again...more advice--1974 Yamaha 175 Enduro

Here's the link of what's for sale: http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/mcy/149852107.html

Now my question is, what do you think of this cycle? Is it worth it or are there some problems? And it should be street legal, correct? Thanks.

Hmmm...

A thousand dollars seems like a lot to me. Also, this is a relatively small motorcycle that isn't going to have the power to take you every where you want to go, such as rural roads or Hwy's where the speed is over 45. I would think this would be a great little bike for knockin' around the woods but not for much else.

I had one just like it... I paid 250 for it waaayyy back when. He's asking $650... not too bad I guess.

It definately WILL NOT take you on the hiway. It tops out (and I mean TOPS OUT) at around 45-50 depending on your weight. It is a really fun little bike tho. Great for knocking around town. And yes it's street legal... if it's been kept up.

Bikes of this type really can be good value for money, if you are looking for something to get started on and learn the skills. I started on an 80's Kawa Kl250 very similar to this and had a great time. No good for highways though.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

Well, he never wrote back to me. So anyway, now I'm lookin' at a 77 Kawasaki KZ200 200 that's in pretty decent shape which is street legal for $600. I included some pictures below. Any ideas about this bike?
