Not quite as powerful as my Vulcan, but it handles 2-up nicely and it matches all my gear!

I have $500.00 invested in everything you see. That includes:fireguzzi wrote:How much was it?
- Both bikes
- Gel seat for my bike
- Water bottles and cages
- Computer (speed, mileage)
- Flashing LED tail light on the trailer
The Trek 820 is nothing fancy, but it does have a 21-speed Shimano rapid-fire shift system and decent front suspension. I can barely feel the trailer with my son aboard unless I take a corner too close and slam him into a picnic table (don't ask me how I know that!

How many times do you think you can do that before he stops riding with you completely?
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
