maybe 45-50mph possibly slower considering how sharp the turn is.
bad time to hit a gravel patch

yeah, one of the things i learned from skillzday is that don't ride 100% on the streets.
what they meant by that is that don't ride w/ your whole skill set on public roads. so even if you can take corners really fast, don't do it.
which is why i wanna practice dragging knee but i wanna practice in a controlled environment like a parking lot.
that's a pretty sharp turn, that rider has some serious skill. either that or maybe it's common but since im a newb, stuff like that easily impresses me.

Uhhh, actually don't ride at 100% means you shouldn't be riding at the edge of control like you do in a race. Leave yourself room to tighten, or widen the turn if you need to. Or time to stop if something goes wrong.
Assume the worse when it comes to riding on the street. Not, "don't use all your skill."

That need not be that fast, but many riders feel comfortable riding with a knee down because the scraping allows them to judge the lean angle. It's maths you need to learn Verm. As in if your arse is exactly 4.5 inches off the left of your seat and your knee is down then you are making a left turn at exactly 42 deg. If your arse slips another inch then you fall off.

I tend to use my feet as a guage. When my toe sliders start scraping, I have about 2mm of tyre left to lean on.

yeah, that's the idea, when your pillion starts screaming then you can slow down and tell him to stop being such a baby.
