How to get more wind protection

I posted this in the Total Motorcycle Garage section, but didn't get many responses. Hopefully more people will see it here.

I am looking for a windshield for my 04 ZZR600 that will offer better protection from the wind at freeway speeds. After doing some googling, this is the only thing I could find, http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/pr ... w/714/156/
The problem is, that website says the windshield is for '93-'97 and I have an '04. As far as I can tell, they are exactly the same. Does anyone know for sure?
Do you think that windshield will provide substantially more wind protection over the stock one? Does anyone know of any other manufacturer that makes a windshield for my bike?

did some searching and it looks like your bike is compatible with 02-04 models. I'de ask a dealer if they'll help.

Spend time looking as there are lots to choose from. There are loads of manufacturers out there, off the top of my head I can think of Zero Gravity, Lockhart Phillips, Memphis Shades, and I think Givi.

I asked the dealer, and they said they can't get any windshield for my bike except the stock replacement.

According to Givi's website, http://www.giviusa.com/index.cfm?fuseac ... page_id=51 that windshield I'm looking at is compatible with my 2004. However, I just got off the phone with them, and was told that it is only compatible through 2003.

Does anyone know for sure if the ZZR600 was changed at all between 2003 and 2004? As far as I can tell, there have been no changes until the new 2005 model, and it sure looks like that windshield should fit on my bike.

I would find out what the return policy is for GIVI. If possible it would be great to order one from them to try fitting it only if you could return it if it does not fit. Also check other manufacturers as already mentioned.
