0-60 and 1/4 time and speed for 85 VF700 Interceptor

#1 Unread post by PCBliss »

I was wondering if anyone had an approx. idea of what the 0-60 and 1/4 time and speed for an 85 Honda VF700 Interceptor should be?

If I remember right 11.8 @ around 110-115 mph. Be wary of quarter mile times published in the eighties.....they lied!

According to MotorCyclist magazine, the '02 VFR800 did the quarter mile in 11.26 @ 119.5. I would think a bike 17 years older would be quite a bit slower.

0-60 in about 4 seconds.

The VF750F got a 11.42 quarter with a 130lb rider.

The VF700F has a listed time of 12.46, but I would expect 13's from a normal rider.
