Which bike would you choose if you had won a lotto or something, but could only pick one?

I don't want to get any of these bikes to start with, i'm just curious as to what bike you all think would be your favorite for the 1000 range.

Normally this would be my next to last choice, but I hear that Honda did a heck of a good job on the new CBR.

+1 for CBR

the choice should be obvious for me.

:D

IIRC, was it motorcycle.com? they awarded the GSX-R1000 the best sportbike 2 years in row even though it remained the same while the other 3 updated theirs.

Once again, I put no stock whatsoever in that. So a bike does a lap around a track in 45.01 seconds as opposed to 45.03 seconds. If one rider is better than another that amount of time is going to be completely insignificant.

Rider skill > fast bikes. Look at Valentino Rossi...wins MotoGP on Honda, switches to Yamaha...wins MotoGP. I see a trend here.

Normally the YZF-R1 and the GSX-R1000 would be my top 2 choices but the CBR seems to be a really good choice this year.

I'll warn you though, before you buy try SITTING on all the bikes and see how they feel to you. I've heard that the CBR 600RR's of recent years have had extremely uncomfortable seats (I'd not know, I've never sat on one) but check it out and make sure you like what you buy!!

each test rider tested all 4 bikes. so you're argument doesn't even apply since rider skill is equal.

next you'll proabably say they are biased, but i dunno. i know for sure they don't always award it to suzuki.
