Dropped it today

Wasn't my first motorcycle drop.....welll actually -

I found out the maximum lean angle of mountain bicycle tires on old pavement. My skin worked pretty decently for this 15 mph crash.

Anyone else get a bicycle to lean a lot? Wonder if road tires would lean much more.

Knobby mountain bike tires can't be leaned as far over on pavement as road bike tires because the knobs start to squirm and this leads to slippage.

I've had my road bike (with slick tires) leaned over almost 45 degrees on tight downhill corners. Any more lean and the tires start to slide out, but even this isn't too much of a problem if you know how to handle it.
