Finally legal....to ride that is.

Just wanted to tell people who would actually apreciate it. I finally got my licence and will be riding the legal way from now on.
Now I have a question. I know not everyone got their licence before their ride. How long did you all wait to get you licences?

I had a permit first & never rode illegally. Not that I'm against that. Its your choice.

Congrats. I got my motorcycle endorsement about a year after I got my regular license... way back in '87. I've been riding ever since...

got the bike mid december, got the permit january, got the lic february.

I don't have a permit or endo and I've been riding about a month and a half.
I really should get that endorsement though...
What's kept me from the MSF is the absolutely reeecockulous waiting list for the course.
No way I'm gonna just not ride for months until those clowns have an open subsidized course.
So instead I'm just getting good on the streets until I can pass the standard skills test.
Apparently the hardest part is U turns where you can't put your foot down but I have found I can pull a really tight U no problem and no feet, so I am probably golden.
ANYWAY, good for you cat.
Hope you get a decent beginner's bike which is less lousy than my POS, and enjoy riding daily.
