Reverse engineering the bike they should have made

Here's a project where they put the best of the V-max into a more sporty handling package. Overkill to the max (get it, max), but I've wondered for years why they didn't improve the handling of the V-max without stealing all the cruiser looks.

This bike is cleary not a cruiser. They call it R-max and I read about it in this months Roadbike (ride metric). Sure is better than another custom chopper.
