fuel wont flow into the carb

the bike is a 2001 buell blast. the problem is that fuel will not flow into the carb unless the bike is tilted way to the right. I checked the needle and seat on the carb and they are fine.

the carb is uphill from the petcock so gas wont flow. its a gravity feed petcock so there is no vacum line, just one line going from the petcock to the carb.

id swear this bike was designed by monkeys

I hope by now you have fixed the problem. Since the fuel line is up hill do you have enough fuel in the tank???
