I have a complaint with all the 100 custom bike shops in each town. IF YOU DON'T WORK ON japanese BIKES put a sign up and tell us you don't. If you don't want my business or lower yourself by working on a japanese bike, just tell me nicely and I will leave, noooo problem!! I own a Suzuki M50 and wanted some mods on the handlebars and the seat to fit me better, but when I walk into your shop I don't need threatened and cursed at and telling me to get that crap rice burner off of his lot. All I ask is put a sign up in front of your bussiness telling us you only work on Harleys. Im glad bussiness is good and your rich enough that you don't need my money.

That sucks. What sucks more is that I'd get the krap beaten out of me after I was told something like that, cause I'd shoot back something even more insulting before I was smart enough to leave......

The local custom shop here is definitely Harley biased, but the owner is pretty cool, and smart enough not to turn away business. He may have to quiz you up on the specifics of your bike, but he is more than happy to do the work.

No shops like that around here. The shop I usually deal with will work on ANYTHING, there is a chopper shop in town as well that will happily build a metric based chopper for you.
