I am no wrench head so seek some insight on this...my Guzzi is dropping a little oil from the alternater housing cover...pulled the cover and found a small pool of oil (~5ml) in the bottom of the alternator housing, all electric windings etc are clean. Removed the oil, reassembled, rode and checked again and the oil pool had reformed. Bike is otherwise running fine.
The bike is under warranty but would prefer not to leave it in the dealer parking lot for this unless it is/becomes a real issue. I presume the oil shouldn't be there...any thoughts/solutions for this?
Thanks.

You got a leaking crankseal. You should have the dealer fix it, it's under warranty and their responsibility. It's not a huge issue, and not real hard to change, but why give them any ammunition if something else goes wrong down the road.
Besides, you paid alot of money for that bike and that warranty. You should get your money's worth.
