i really like this girl im working w/. i wanna get to know her a lot better.

i don't think she's involved w/ someone right now.

i know the downside is there'll be bad tension between us if she rejects me but not knowing if i have a chance kills me even more.

i know i can still act professionally around her but still... it'll be awkward for both of us.

anyway, her family runs a wildlife animal rescue facility which im really interested to visit but i'll also use it as a chance to talk to her.

so basically, what im planning is to ask her if i can visit the facility maybe this weekend and maybe she can give me a tour of the place and then go on from there.

anyway... wish me luck. im not new these things but im not very good at it either.

Just don't try to reverse her shift pattern or install a TRE too quickly there, Skippy!

I was gonna offer a suggestion like trying to slip in some how that you work in a vet clinic and are interested in the animals (so it's not obvious you're going just to get the 'tour') but then I remembered that you were talking about a girl from work and a couple seconds later it clicked.

It's a slow day today. Sometimes I think my brain just completely stops working.

If you don't care about your job... then go for it. If you like your job and would like to stay there for a while, then I'd suggest finding someone else to try to date.

Never mix business and pleasure... it will most likely lead to headaches and hardships in the work place. It's not worth it... trust me.

Like the old saying goes... don't dodo where you eat. But you won't listen. Kids never do

but i really like her...

So at least become friends. Nothing wrong with that. And yes, it can be weird workingwith someone after they rejected you.

But if you're lucky (fourtunatly i was, after a couple weeks) that'll pass if you and her are cool to begin with.

but i can kiss that goodbye if get rejected.

still... i'll be able to cope w/ that more than if i never tried.

Well, don't open up with a "hey let's go on a date and "fudge"". Just be like "so, you want to go get lunch/dinner/hangout sometime?". Or if you have any mutual friends "hey, we should get the gang and see a movie or some-such".
