ive seen alot of 'special' pens to color the tread on your tires, i was wondering first is there anything special or would a sharpie do just as well second is there any concern with traction when putting any type marker in the tread like that?

i think it looks pretty cool but i dont want to risk making my tires loose grip or spend alot of these 'special' tire markers.

there's a company that makes colored tires, no pen needed. Would get you the look you wanted without sacrificing traction from what I've read. There was a post on here about it before the hack. Not my personal choice but it does look good on some bike's I guess.

i dont want the whole tire colord, not to mention the cost of it ;p
i just want the cuts in the tire to be colord.
