spark plug cap

do all plug caps have resistance, my manual does not show any test for it. 2000 yamaha tw200. and how did my exhaust valve get bent.thanks buud.
Some bikes have resistor caps, some don't. It would not surprise me if your TW-200 did not have one.
Valves can be bent through over-revving (the valve floats and so may still be in the open postion when it should be closed, letting the piston tag the valve.) Ussually the cause of bent valves in otherwise sound engines.
Or the timing chain could jump a tooth and allow the same conditons to occur for the valve/piston relationship. This is not as common, and should be fairly obvious on teardown.
