help, cleaning bugs off mesh riding gear?

How do you guys get bugs of your mesh jacket and pants?

i havent, i have a mesh textile thingy, and i havent cleaned em, ive washed the jacket and some have come off, but some have stayed on, hell man just leave em, adds charector :)

Just leave 'em there for a few months, they get kinda dry and crumbly, then ya can just flake 'em off........... :mrgreen:

no mesh here. My jacket is leather. a damp sponge gets the bugs off nicely, works pretty well on my helmet too

Pull the pads out and spray them with a high pressure hose. Whatever doesn't come off is meant to be there.

windex and brush seems to work pretty good. doesn't seem to have hurt it any.

Wont the ammonia in the Windex shorten the life of the mesh?

Most DIY spray washes have clamps on the walls for your floor mats. Just hang the jacket on one of the clamps and blast away with high-pressure soap, rinse, and ride.
