Barber AMA race and Yoshimura Suzuki

I like to consider myself a man who doesn't believe in dynasties when it comes to racing but good grief! I just got back from the Barber AMA races (only got to see 1 race, but it was the 1000cc superbike race so I was satisfied) and Suzuki clearly owned the race. Yoshimura had spots 1, 2, and 3 for most of the race (then Aaron Yates goofed and got pushed from 3rd to 9th or so).
I now see why Mat Mladin is "the guy to beat." I got there right when qualifying was beginning. He absolutely burned the other riders (including the Ducati team that I was rooting for). Ben Spies won the race but it coulda easily gone Mladin's way. He got stuck behind a few bikes and fell back though. They were waaaaaaaaay ahead of the 3rd place guy though. So yeah, between those two riders I don't see any other maker winning the 1000cc superbike championship for a while (although I could be suprised).
Had a great time at the race, can't wait till next year! Although I'll consider investing in a lawn chair, standing on Barber's steep incline for 50 minutes straight while watching that race was...painful on the ol' legs!
