Ill start from the top.Like every other morning I start my bike warm it up then ride to work a couple of k's away.
When I come home I park her in the shed and plug the battery saver charger
on and leave it at that>
Next morning I was running late for work so I rushed out put the key in the ignition all the dash lights came up like every other morning then hit the start switch, heard this little pop and everything went dead, being in a hurry I forgot to disconnect the saver charger thought 'there goes the main fuse" jumped on the pushie and went to work.
When I got home I checked the fuse and It was OK on sunday I stripped the bike down including the Tank to find any trouble wires then it got really weird
when I turn the ignition on only the neutral light comes on and thats it, when I hit the starter the light goes dead no horn no lights nothing then i found this mystery black wire that runs from the negative battery terminal when I disconnect it the neutral lidgh comes on and when it is connected the neutral light goes off the wire looks like it runs either to the radiator fan or somewhere up to the ignition.
Sorry I am so long winded but if I have to take it to the shop and I dont want to look like a wanker if it is something really simple
Bottom line is electrics is my weakest point and Im trying to learn them
