Honda rectifier

I was having a devil of a problem (1974 honda cb360) that I traced back to the rectifier. Honda no longer makes them. Although I found a used one at a local store, I did stumble across

This dude makes rectifiers for older japanese bikes and sells them at a decent price ~ $25. So, I haven't used the parts, but I did read some positive experiences from folks who had. Just thought I'd post that in case someone might find it useful and was up against it trying to find a part no longer in production. Not that I'd wish a bad rectifier on anyone... it was hard to figure out and hard to get to.

RadioShack has a 25 amp rectifirer that would work: Catalog #: 276-1185

You just need to wire it up right. A heat sink on it would help too.

Only $3
