Stopped by the dealership today and I may have to wait up to a month for my bike to come in. Ordered an '06 Suzuki Boulevard S50 last week. Today, the salesman said, "None of the dealerships in a 200 square mile radius "have any"". In other words, nobody has one they're willing to part with or trade or whatever the excuse. So, he called his factory rep and the story right now is it'll be two weeks before they get into the country (assuming the rep isn't full of "dung"), add another few days to the dealership, a few days at the dealership.....

Ok, I feel better now. Sorry, just had to scream out my frustration.

Hang in there. I know it's hard to wait (mine was in the shop for over three weeks last August - argh!), but time will pass and you'll soon be riding. Hope it shows up soon for ya.

Thanks for the encouraging words! I was just frustrated. We "yanks" require instant gratification ya know!

The Boulevards are HOT and hard to keep in inventory too. If you haven't already put a deposit on the bike and agreed on the price, don't be shocked if you get jammed on the price when it comes in too. They are great bikes and worth the $$$ IMHO.

Could you go outside that 200 mile radius? That's an easy daytrip.

I yelled too soon. The salesman called and said my bike should be in by the middle of next week!!! Now I'm all excited again.

Not sure if he found one from a dealership or they found some in a warehouse somewhere. Either way works for me. Not sure how long it will take them to get it built and put the windshield on it for me but, either way, I should be riding it home in under two weeks.

Just as soon as I get it home, I'll be taking pictures and posting.

For now, you can see pics of the model here on the Suzuki site. Mine will be black with a windshield.
