On Sunday, there were a lot of bikes out, all catching my eye and making me wish I was out with them, but something made me curious.
I saw someone riding a larger BMW, one of the new ones by the looks of it, and they were being followed by a Honda CBR, and both were coming up to a roundabout.
The beemer went round the roundabout first and he tilted the bike over, looked like he tilted it really far for some reason. It isn't a large round about and the angle didn't look right. The Honda just tilted briefly and went on again.
I'm not sure if the riding position being different on the bikes was a factor in the BMW looking exagerated, but it did look odd.
Is this normal for the big boxers to tilt over that far for something simple like a roundabout?

Beemer might have been taller, thus exaggerating the look of the lean angle, or the Beemer rider may just have been a better rider. He chose a line and dove into it without hesitation. The CBR rider may not have been as experienced, and may have even sixpenced the curve.

Thanks for that guys, makes sense, I had a feeling the angle may have looked exagerated because of the difference in riding position between the two bikes.
Still think it looked odd though the way the beemer rider seemed to humf the bike to one side, for some reason it didn't look too natural.
Oh well, since it's the roundabout I take to get to work I'll have plenty of experience with it once I get my own bike on the road.
