Anyone affected by this? I didnt even know we could protest our right to break the law. We should all protest against speed limits, no one obeys them anyway.

Imagine it...we will collectively all ignore the speed limit for a day, drive as fast as we want, and the cops will be powerless to stop us.

Sounds like the army needs to get down to these protests with a few big buses and start massive deportations. If you're in the country illegally why would you want to draw so much attention to yourself? What effect do they think they are going to have? Most businesses, aside from many manual labor ones, arent going to even notice the strike. If they do, its only for a day, maybe two...these people have to work, how long can they go without a paycheck. Its just silly. Too many people watched 'Day without a Mexican'.

the deal is they want to keep all the money they make without paying tax or medical insurance or auto insurance and letr the tax payer foot the bill for education and health care.like we have been doing for the past 20 years.

Jeff Salsbery told The Associated Press that he was losing thousands of dollars because 25 Latino workers hadn't shown up at his Carmel, Indiana, landscaping company.

"I'm not very happy this morning," Salsbery told the AP. "We're basically shut down in our busiest month of the year."
Guess what, if that were my business, those protesters would be sadly mistaken if they thought they still had jobs Tuesday.

Oh yah today was that 'Day without Latinos' or whatever.

Apparently they weren't missed though, everything went smoothly on my end.

"I want my children to know their mother is not a criminal," said the nanny who told the AP she came here illegally in 1986 from Mexico. "
Sorry to break this to you but, yah you are...

Yes, they ARE criminals. Why?

It is not like the US has closed its borders. There is a process by which immigrants come to this country, become legal citizens, and work happily within our system.

The illegals are simply doing what any other criminal does...they are bypassing the system and taking what they want. We can talk about their burden to healthcare and social services, taking our jobs (many that legal immigrants would certainly want!) all we want, but bottom line is there is a system in place for them, and they choose the easy way out. The criminal way out.

This is no different than if I decided I didnt want to work, so I started stealing what I want to survive. You can talk about my human rights and survival, but in the end I became a criminal by choice, by removing myself from the system. When these illegals came to this country illegally, they voluntarily removed themselves from the system and became criminals.

Round them up and deport them.

And what I want to see is all the companies , etc. that give them jobs go to jail as well .
Then if we can find any folks that are willing to do the work that are citizens
Oh & 1 more thing , since when does our National Anthem need to be sung in any language besides English ?
Somebody tell me that one please .
Regards, Wizzard
And if you have time to fart around , get the information on what it takes to become a citizen and/or land owner in Mexico .
I am a first generation Californian , second generation American . And I am and always have been a registered voter so I sure as hell can be-atch when I want to

So by first generation Californian you're saying you're Mexican?

Or Native American? Or Asian? (Asians came over during the gold rush when California was still just a terrirtory).

This may just be the stupid talking but I can't decipher your post Wizz. It seems that you're against the protests (the SSB being sung in no other language than English thing)
Oh & 1 more thing , since when does our National Anthem need to be sung in any language besides English ?
But for it in terms of you being able to vote and "dog". (complain; I think it's funny that 'b' is replaced with cookie).

Well that actually goes both ways. If you're Mexican descent then you're for it with teh last bit of logic and if you're American then you're against it.

Man it's 10:30 PM and I'm already not making sense. This doth not bode well.

when you have people willing to work for 3 bucks an hour, people will hire them, its bottom line. its why cars are made in korea instead of the US.
