Im sure its all been mentioned before for four-strokes, but my bike is a little different from the usual Japanese bike.

Soo, I am currently running in my Jawa 634, 350cc two stroke in, after a full engine rebuild...

Can anyone tell me some tips for how long it should be run in and at what rpm's?
Its got a redline of 5600rpm(yes I know  )

I've covered 200km revving no higher than 2000rpm, I plan to ride at max 2500rpm after 300km, and after 500, with caution use her fully. I have the carb slide needle set at running in postition(richer than usual.)

Does all this sound sensible, or am I being to cautios, or not enough.

Cheers

Tyrone

I would say to run it up and down the full rpm range.

Just dont keep it in one spot too long.
