Hello, Tim from KS here. Just bought an 88 FZ600 for 350$, put about 250$ into it to get it running, here is a pic....
Also, having problems with overflow. I run the bike for awhile, drive around, come home, and stop, the bike has gas coming from the carbs overflow. Any ideas? Too hot?[/img]

Welcome! And nice bike! I'm looking for one of those myself soon.
As for the carbs, maybe there's a fuel flow problem and fuel isn't getting to the jets? or something...

Welcome...sounds like the floats in the carbs could be sticking, allowing gas to continually feed into the float bowl. Try rapping on the float bowl with a small plastic hammer, or screw driver handle...LIGHTLY...do not beat on it!!! Just a few lite raps. Get some SEA FOAM fuel additive from AutoZone and double the amount called for. This won't hurt the carbs or engine and will clean out any crud that may be causing the problem. Also, turn off the gas when you park it.
