Carrying Your Papers
How do you all carry your papers (registration, insurance docs) with you when you ride?

Current ride: fairing pocket in ziploc bag (along with spare earplugs, notepad, tire gauge, etc etc etc).
Previous ride (naked bike): taped under seat in ziploc bag.
I keep a copy of my license with the papers, and an extra insurance card in the wallet. Don't like keeping papers in the jacket since I switch jackets depending on weather, and I'd hate to wash my registration.

zip lock bag is the way to go. I use a zip lock bag in my mini van. just easier to grab a ziplock bag out of the full glove compartment my wife has stuffed with god knows what and is a pain to close.

I keep it under the seat in a ziplock bag. But that was a little bit of a problem after my accident, because the seat was stuck and wouldn't come off.

What kind of huge insurance/registration cards does your state have?? Mine fit in my wallet with 1 fold.gitarjunky wrote:I just fold them about 5 times and put them in my wallet...not a whole lot of room on the bike.

...wot papers officer?
...in a Ziplok under the seat like the rest of the posts. I am fortunate on my Guzzi that there is a well under the seat where the OEM toolkit goes so no tape needed. Do most bikes have toolkits stashed somewhere or is is this a reflection of Guzzi's confidence in their machines?
