well this bike kinda fell into my lap, and for $400 i couldn't pass it up its 1975 cb750 f1 1 owner who bought a harley last week. its got 19k miles and been garaged its whole life. i really doubt anyone around here has one of these bikes but if so anything i should know about this model?

Well i just thought i'd let you guys know about my second bike purchase in 2 weeks  now we just wait and see which one i keep.

Some people have all the luck!

Those old 750s are still excellent all-around bikes. I owned a '74 K-model for quite a long time... never had any troubles other than normal maintenance. The F model is pretty much the same bike except it's styled a bit more sporty, has a disc brake in the rear and 4/1 exhaust.

this bike has been sitting in the fuel shed at our airport for a week till i asked about it yesterday we went out to it and it fired right away so i drove it around the airport for a little while. i came back and asked him how much when he said 400 i jumped all over it. i'll be riding it all weekend

I loved my '82 Nighthawk 750. That bike always got me to where I needed to go. Not well sometimes, but she'd never quit when I think most would. I miss my old bike, but at least my manager at work has it, so I get to see him riding it when we go out, and when he brings it to work.

Glad to hear you got such a deal on it. Look forward to hearing about your good times with her. ;)

You can't go wrong with that price. I'm selling my 83 Magna today for 900. What's the other bike that you bought?

'83 MAGNA?

Would that be a V30,V45, or the all impressive V65? Talk about raw power rapped in a smooth rididng stylish machine. I wish they still made something similar, but I digress. The old 750 is the orginal "Superbike" and it doesn't require a PHD to do basic maintainance. 8)
