Ok this might sound strange but since I started riding - I smell gas all the time! I mean the gasoline type not the bad burrito kind. I smell it at my house, friends houses, nice restaurants - you name it.
I've tried the obvious things like taking a shower and washing my clothes

But I still smell gas - even tonite when I was weaing brand new dress clothes and shoes that have never ever even come close to my bike.
Is it stuck up my nostils or something or just in my head?

The smell of gasonline is hard to get rid of, it will kind of hang on to your body for a while, even after a shower if you had been around the bike for a while. Also, your bike may be running rich (I think).

The gas smell will definitely stick with you. I was filling up one of my gas cans once and stopped paying attention for for a minute; next thing I know, I squirted gas all over my feet. I was wearing flip flops too. Man I reeked of gas for about 2 weeks. No amount of showering took that smell away for awhile. And my flip flops have never been the same.

Do the people around you smell it too? Or just you? If it's just you, don't worry about it. If they smell it, just tell it was from the last arson fire you set

Check your float bowl gaskets. I had one that wasn't leaking visibly, but was leaking just enough to create a constant smell of fuel when riding. The smell got all over my boots and clothes, even though it was just the fumes, no liquid. New gasket, problem solved.
It will take a bit to get the stank out of your nostrils. Check your boots and gear and make sure they don't need cleaning.

hey look on the bright side, at least you're not TASTING gas for 2 days after a syphoning gone wrong!
could be rich exhaust gasses swirling around you as you ride as well as anything else.
