Exhaust Question

I just bought an 02 R6 and it has a full D&D exhaust which is louder than I want it to be. Is there an easy fix to this without putting the stock exhaust back on and getting a slip on pipe? Can I buy a different cannister to quiet it down a little and fit onto the D&D pipe? Please let me know.

I like a loud bike and a slip on would still be plenty loud i just dont like to draw the wrong kind of attention that these bikes typically do.

switching canisters shouldn't be too difficult.

if you want quiet with good sound look at either akrapovic or leo vince slip ons

OK ill keep my eye open for them. The cannister on there now is open, i just want something with some baffles to quiet it down a little and not be louder than a harley. Thanks.

D&Ds are VERY loud and have little baffling.

I have heard Akrapovic and Leo Vince systems on R6s and R1s and they sound great. The Akrapovic has a nice deep sound even on an R6, the Leo vince has a deep sound as well but is a hair louder than the akrapovic
