I just bought a 1981 cb 750 custom with a windjammer. I want to change it to a headlight with signals. I took the windjammer off and there is just a ball of wires there. I dont know which wire is for which light. I have the head light and signals ordered with stems. I was wondering how to mount the signals with the stems. I was wondering what you guys would do?
Thanks,
Kyle

i'd get a service manual and figure out what wire were what, then i'd try to track down someone with the same or similiar model, and look at it. Maybe go to a junkyard and look at one there, just to see how it is set up.
I'm sure a meter will come in handy as well, when you're checking out wires.

welcome to my world. Im wanting to do the same thing to my CX500 which also has a windjammer on it.
best thing to do would be to get a schematic for your bike.
it is easier to trace and label the wires as your taking the fairing off.
there should be 11 wires total, 3 for the headlight and 4 for each turn signal, look at the inside of your fairing and see if the colors of the fairing wires match the ones on the bike, that could be an easy way to trace wires.
