6 things you learn the hard way

1) Bad air filters can make starting your bike impossible... but only when you REALLY have to be somewhere.

2) Fairing snaps are really fragile.

3) Epoxy isn't as strong as I thought.

4) The smell sure is.

5) Kawasaki clearly doesn't want people changing air filters.

6) Cycle Barn does not have socket wrenches or flex-wrenches.

One addition.

Driving a bike with a missing foot peg is very difficult.

No it's not, just rest your foot on the hot exhaust!

LOL! Thats exactly what I did. Luckily, I was wearing boots.
If it was the left side tho. Dunno what the hell I would've done.

You would have put your foot on the passenger peg, taken off your front wheel and held the wheel in your right hand and manualed a wheelie all the way home standing up.

Wow!! That really changes things.

I was thinking of a guy I work with that has a wooden leg and rides a Harley.

Things you learn: parts made out of rubber on the carbs or air system will split or crack. When that happens, proper mixture will be impossible to maintain.
