Used Bike Evaluation

I have made a tentative deal on an used '05 Suzuki V-Strom 650. The bike has been down on it's right side, the front fairing was replaced but there is still a part that was scraped and not replaced. The front right foot peg was bent and probably not replaced. There is a scrape mark on the muffler shield and front fender. The bike price has been set at 4500 and retail is 5150(kbb) and 57xx(nada).
My question is that by looking at the bike close, it reveals that has been down. Does that hurt the resale to the point that I should not be paying this price? These are hard to find used but I'm not in that much of a hurry to make a purchase if I will be burned on resale. The bike is not local so I have just seen pictures and the owner did not tell me about ALL the damage. (He has posted pictures last year prior to the most recent post). I'm just wondering if it's an honest mistake or if he concealing more damage. Thanks for your opinions.
