honda rebels

the honda rebel has an in-line twin engine can i convert that to a v-twin 88 cubic inches?

Why not convert it to an 1800, put on a fairing and some trunk space and call it a rebel wing. Don't forget the trailer hitch too.

all it takes is time, money, ambition, space, solid fabrication skills, mechanical knowledge, and some good tools

or you could use all that to build a nice bridge or a skyscraper

As long as you're willing to break apart/reweld the frame, buy a new motor for it, get a new transmission/drivetrain for it... Yeah, should be a walk in the park!
