HOLY dodo yeah! I was probably around the middle of the pack and on the right side of our staggered middle lane. All I see is the Honda screaming towards us. It took a second for me to actually process "wait, this idiot is going the wrong friggin way!". Scary indeed. Whats even more frightening a thought is that one paper quotes the guy as saying "kill me now" so if he woulda decided to give in and go suicidal/homicidal, he woulda easily taken a good hundred bikers out. Imagine the FDR WASN'T shut down that day. Woulda been a much uglier story.
Anyway, that ride was AWESOME aside from the crazy cager. Great to be amongst so many other bikers for such a heartfelt ride. Of course its always gratifying too to see hundred of cagers and cabs being forced to wait for us to clear the highway.

i agee it was very cool. i only had 2 gripes. 1. was we didnt stay at the javitz center long enough because i was next in line to get a frickin hot dog and i was starving so i had to leave! and 2. i realized how much i miss my old marauder cruiser. i love the v-strom, but man was my old mustang seat comfortable on that bike.
yup, it sure was nice to wave to all the cagers being held up. pretty funny. coincidentally that was my first major run with that amount of bike and funny/scary that that kind of crazy "poo poo" happens. go figure.
