Chhhhaatttterrr!
So, I was in a parking lot this evening practicing my emergency stops and I experienced the 'front wheel chatter' that I've heard and read about. The front wheel kinda just bounced up and down, not enough to make me lose control, but definitely enough to know that it was doing it. (I was practicing 35-40mph to 0mph stops as fast as I could) When this happened, I eased up on the front brake slightly and by that time, I was stopped. Just double checking, but that means that I was at the maxium braking point....any more and I would have locked up the front wheel, and any less and I could have stopped a little sooner? It was wierd and I think I'd like to not have that happen again unless I really need it to!
