i heard that in california that it was legal to ride wheelies on public roads, but just for a short distance.

there may not be a specific law against wheelieing, but they can always call it reckless driving (which is what it is)

+1, wreckless driving, + much more likely to hurt yourself or others if yor pulling that crap on public roads.

the problem with riding a wheelie where the cop can see you is that they would probably think you were stunting/not in control...which they would ticket you for.

wheelies on the street don't impress me, and i am sure they don't impress the police or the cagers around the rider doing them.
