Went to a dealship and checked out some bikes. First I looking at some other things if you check my other posts you'll kno what.

Anyway I saw the Ninja 250

At first they tried to get me at like $4100

I got them to $3491 out the door which included the tax and tags.

Is that a good price or no?

They gave my $2864 on the bike, tags were $110, $200+ for tax, etc...

$3491 total Cash

I dunno if that was a good price or not. I was barginning trying to get down to MSRP, I'm not sure on dealer fees though or what not. As far as MSRP they gave me about $140 under. I dunno though...

That doesn't sound bad at all from what I've heard about getting those bikes. It seems like they are hard to talk down.

Yep, it's a good price. Theoretically you might be able to talk a dealer down to $3400 or so out the door without them losing money... but I had several dealers let me walk away without blinking an eye when I insisted on $3400 OTD. $3500 is the lowest I could find in my area.

From what I read, the invoice price on that bike is $2,850...then I'm sure you'll have to add destination fee, doc fee, registration, tax and commission ($100 min I think)...so OTD should be around $3,400. Sounds like you got a good deal...especially if they included delivering the bike to your home for you (which is usually about $60 depending on how far you live).

cool. I'll shoot for $34 on monday and see what happens. Worse come ot worse I'll go for $3491.

If we're talking about the same bike, the MSRP is $2999, so the original price sound ridiculous.

Thats about what HandsomeRyan paid for his a week ago.... seems fair for the states... (stupid 7 grand canadian bike...)

Yup Pete - them peeps is out to fleece us! Either that or the damn gov't is raking in all the moolah in taxes...!
