So it occured to me that I hadn't introduced myself...

... and that's partly because I don't know what to say.

I'm currently 24, live in Western KY, have never ridden (that 1/4 mile test ride doesn't count), and feel that I'm 8 years behind in getting a bike.

I have not yet taken the MSF, though I do have my permit. I'm signed up for class in July, though, and can't wait!

I am currently looking at motorcycles, trying to find my first.

I guess that's about all for now. Anything that I missed, just ask!

:welcome: and, don't feel that you're behind in getting a bike. I'm 35 and just bought my first one last week. You'll see a lot of n00bs in their mid twenties and up.

hey froldt. welcome. dont feel like your behind, it'll just give you more incentive to try and "catch up" which means more room for errors. im 24 myself and just starting. go slow take your time and definatly sign up for an MSF course.

Hey everyone! Thanks!
I've learned a lot from this forum, and hope that I can one day help others out.

I've been wanting a bike for... since I can remember, and wish I'd gone ahead and gotten one back when I first got my license; and thus the 8 years behind. :D

The check's in the mail (really, I mean it, I promise  ), so my spot is reserved for the July MSF course. I even managed to talk a friend of mine into going, so I'll already know someone. Yay!
