Yamaha XT250 in 2007?

I've read that the XT225 may be going away next year, replaced by a 250. Think this will be the Serow 250 of Japan? Anyone know how different it might be?
I'd considered buying an XT225 next year, but might want to buy one sooner if they are about to try something new. I liked the 20 year history behind the XT225.
