Hi all. This is my current indecision. I currently have a year 2000-1600 Roadstar Silverado. She has given me zero problems but a few freinds are suggesting I trade it in on the new Nomad. I have taken a look at both the new Silverado and the Nomad and so far I like the Nomad. I am taking the new Nomad out this Wednesday for a test ride so this could be it. So far which isn't much since its so new, I have heard nothing but good things about the Nomad and nothing about the new Silverado. One of my biggest complaints about the Silverado is the vibration in higher speeds as well as rear foot pegs (try and get rubber heels off of exhaust pipes) whatta mess. My wife tells me the rear back rest gives her next to no back support as well. Anyways I started with a Yamaha 80 when I was 15 then I stopped riding until about 7 years ago when I bought a 71 /5 BMW basket case and restored it from the ground up in my dining room (I wasn't married then) I bought a totaly tricked out 1500 Intruder (which I did not feel safe on and my neighbours hated me as well as my girlfreind that was going deaf from the pipes and then the Silverado. On another thought I have all the original pipes seats signals etc. which were taken off of the intruder. Does anyone have any idea where I can sell them?[/b]

Have you tried ebay? I own a '91 Goldwing that I built from the frame up no kidding, but ebay is an excellent resource for buyers and sellers to link new and used parts with the people who need them. There are some small fees involved but it is fairly easy to set up an account and there are many other like minded users. Hope this doesn't sound like a plug for ebay, but it is the best source I know of for someone not wanting to open a shop and go into it full time. Hope this helps.

I will try ebay I have a paypal account because I sell fishing lures so I am one step in that direction. I thank you for your responses. I will call a Suzuki dealership and get a price for the parts then at least I have a ball park figure to work with.
