Kawasaki Vulcan 900

Was at a local dealer last night and my eye kept going back towards the Vulcan 900.

Anyone have anything to say about Kawasaki's in general or ridden the new Vulcan?

I haven't ridden one but it is on my shortlist when I go looking for a new bike. I was the same way when I seen one in the stealership. I just kept going back and looking at it.

It is a really nice bike. One of the judges here just bought one and loves it. Of course he also has 3 other bikes to play around on.

The engine looks too much like the Suzuki M and C50 that worries me and its belt drive, looks cheap and generic, thats my personal opinion, It may be a good bike, I don't know, but I wouldn't buy it cause it looks too much like my POS Suzuki.

Well everything I've read about it has been glowingly positive. Bigger displacement, very good fit and finish, floorboards, belt drive (preferably to chain drive on a cruiser btw Moto), it's physically large, the engine looks big.

I've yet to read a bad thing about it... Except for the standard bullshit that MotoF150 shovels around the forums.

Just because ya got a bad Suzuki , that doesn't make the brand bad . My spousette and I have had no problems with ours and we ride them hard .
Now on the new Kawi 900's . That is a nice machine . I've assembled a few of them now and they sell really well . As they should because they are very comfortable , light enough to maneuver easily and look good doing it .
They are quite sound . Kawi makes a good bike .

Excellent bike. I like Kawi's in general. Had the Meanstreak not look exactly the way it does, I would have gone with the Vulcan 900. Fit and finish is unbelievably nice for the price. Go for it if it fits you.

All in all, I got the impression the Shadow 750 was a better ride. I would have liked to have tried out the Shadow Sabre 1100, but chose the 1300 instead.

Dude for someone who has a "POS" Suzuki you sure do prominently note it on your sig line. Plus you never even bother to get the thing fixed. The C-50's rock and the Vulcan 900 would compare well. Check both out and see which one you like best. But don't let clowns who won't fix their bikes sway you from making a decision.

I am just giving my honest and personal opinion, ever notice? The Kawasaki and Suzuki cruisers all look almost exactly the same? A Blind Man can see they are made by the same outsource manufacturing plant somewhere in China, maybe by slave labor. I know you guys don't believe me, but for a long time many japanese bike parts, frames, engines were outsourced and made in China, the same way Chevy has their pickup trucks made in Mexico. Next time you guys buy any parts for ur bike, look on the package and see where its made, China. The bike may have a final assembly point in Japan, or the US, but the engines and frames are made in China. Honda is different, they are US made, engines and frames made in Ohio. I know some of you guys don't like me in this forum, everything I tell you is honest, and I understand maybe some of you guys don't wanta look stupid cause you own a junky bike, and you guys will defend the bike you own as being the best, I can understand that, and I respect you guys for that. All I am doing is being honest and giving my honest opinion and I believe I have enough experience on bikes to know whats the best and whats not. I honestly think im being a service by helping those in need with my vast experinces and intellectual advice.
