What Do you Think of This bike?

#1 Unread post by Shamino »

Hello, I am looking to purchase my first bike. First I would like to say that in the next 2 months i will be taking the MOT103N motorcycle safety training and licensing course here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

I am looking for a Really cheap bike I can use for after I get my m2 through the safety course.... The one I am looking at is a 1987 Honda Hurricane 600... The reason I am looking at it is because it is cheap and old. and because of that my insurance company is willing to give me a decent rate. Also I have been able to sit on one and it seems to me to be a vary comfortable and more relaxed position than I had originaly expected.

Would be interested to hear any thoughts that more experienced riders have about that bike or any other alternatives.

Thankyou.

Please read the sticky about 600cc sportbikes.

In addition, there is something else for you to consider, besides the above information : The bike is an older sportbike - I guarantee it's had the snot beat out of it.
