Im an expert on everything but I need some ideas, Im thinking about buying an aftermarket windshield for my bike, but I see the problems everybody else has is the rush of air that comes thru the opening around the headlight and causes unstable handling, some guys made and bolted on rubber flaps that cover that opening, but that looks too hillbilly looking, you know, I want my bike to look good, any ideas?

I agree, a windshield does ruin the looks of a bike, but windshields have a practical use, they protect you from the bugs and the birds hitting ur face, and it does make it a more comfortable long ride and im over it thinking that I may pick up some hot babes with a hot looking bike, I had more girls with my dirt bikes. Im not worried about impressing anybody I just want a comfortable ride.

Agree 100%.....thats why I went with a detachable windshield. Take it off when cruising around town, throw it on for highway riding and roadtrips.

This doesn't help the original post, alhough I've never noticed any stability issues with the windshield.

yes, you should have

In reguard to your question:

I'd try playdough. I'm sure you have some lying around. Check under your bed, or you might have left it in the living room when you were using it to recreate scenes from "The Blob" with your Gi Joe action figures. If all else fails, just ask your mom, she'll help you out.

Good luck, son.
