I had half the day off today and for once was able to get out and do some real riding! No stuck in traffic commuter riding today! Rode down to Starved Rock a national park about an hour and a half south of Chicago. The one semi-hill around this area with lots of fun twistes around the hill, what a blast!

Now there's a great memory, we used to drive(race) down to Starved Rock on a regular basis when we were young. Lived in Berwyn, graduated from Morton HS in 50, went to UofI Chicago when it was a 2 year school located at Navy Pier, and then to IIT.

Used to climb up the face of starved Rock. Saw some pics of the park recently and it has really changed, I wouldn't recognize it now except for the rock itself still looks the same. Gotta stop back there some day.
