i know for starts and stops, you need your feet over the brake and shifter because you have to downshift and brake to stop. but when your out in the country or on the interstate and you are riding at a basically set speed, is it okay to move your feet back so the toes of your boots are resting on the pegs?
i find when im out in the country riding, if i turn sharply, i tend to leave my foot down like im about to upshift but just let it hang there and my boot scrapes and scares the "poo poo" out of me.
maybe im just late to the party an everyone puts their feet further back on the pegs when they arent shifting or braking, but i dont know. i find it it be more comfortable but if its unsafe (cant get to back brake as quickly) then i wont do it.
