So I stopped for a motorcyclist on the side of the road...

I'm riding down a parkway with 4 lanes going both ways and I see a biker just sitting on his bike on the side of the road. Since I'm a courteous person and I've read that you're suppose to stop to see if the other biker needs assistance I pull over. Of course I'm not able to stop until further down the road, but he pulls up beside me on the shoulder and says "I appreciate you stopping, good looking out. Sorry, I just got an important phone call."
Well I have a good laugh at that and we just start talking. He asks me if I'm doing Rolling Thunder tomorrow because he's looking for some people to ride with that aren't on Harleys. I guess since he's on a Busa, he doesn't want to catch any flack. Too bad my dad is flying in from the Philippines or I would actually think about going to Rolling Thunder. I'm still a bit aprehensive riding in large groups as I've only been riding about a month now. I've only ridden with one other person that I know.
Also, Memorial Day weekend is so awesome. All the bikers are in town and my hand gets tired with the waves
