I am looking at a 2003 Suzuki Intruder 1400. Any info good or bad would be greatly appreciated. It has 8000+ miles, and he is asking $4000.
I am currently riding a 1986 Kawasaki ZL600 Eliminator. This is my first bike.

sounds like a pretty good deal, I seen one used in the dealer with 4000 miles on it, with some extras on it for 5800 dollars, wish I would of gotten there sooner, I would have bought it. Someone else already had their name on it.
I am hunting around for another one now.

what does everyone think about the New 06 Suzuki S83?
most are going for 8499 I seen one at the one dealership with 500 dollars off.

also what jmill said , if it's in good shape

Thanks for the input. I rode by the house that had the bike, and it was not there. I hope that someone just took it for a ride today. I will call tomorrow and find out.

Dealer has 3 new leftover 2005 S83's for $6599, new 2006 are $7499 the dissadvantages of the S83 are the small gas tank, its not water cooled, its oil cooled, spoked wheels and bias ply tires. I was thinking about buying one as soon as I find a dummy to buy my M50.

Sold my Intruder a couple of years ago. Nice nimble bike but hard on the butt on a cruise. Gas tank is small so be prepared for frequent stops. To change the plugs you have to pull the front and rear seat AND the gas tank. To pull the battery or to check it you have to drop it down from the botton of the bike.
So...........if you don't mind the above, enjoy your new bike.
