2002 GSXR headlight Problems

I have an 02 GSXR 600...the other day, the headlights stopped working so i traced all of the wiring to the plug on the right side of the bike. No splits or anything. I also checked the fuses, not blown, the plastic connection on the right side appears to be burnt on two of the little metal connecters inside but i could not find a bad wire anywhere. Now, the low beams do not work but the high beams do. Any thoughts?????
