125ccm bike

#1 Unread post by Guest »

Hi! I am coming from Novi Sad, Serbia. I am 16 years old and I am looking to buy new bike ( now I have scooter  ). I think that Ninja 250 would be the best bike for me, but law in here says that you can't drive a bike that have more than 125ccm until you're 18 :frusty: . That pretty suck.
I was looking for some bike that have 125ccm, they all look good but they can't go more than 100-110 km/h... My scooter can go 90km/h so it is stupid to buy something that goes 10-15 km/h more than my scooter. So I have 2 questions:
1) Is there any posibiliti to register ninja 250 as a bike that have 125ccm?
2) Can you tell me some sports bike that don't have more than 125ccm but that can go at least 130km/h. :)

also want to add that I can't spend more than hm... 2.500 euros :(

I think you should just wait until you are 18! Your scooter is fine for now. When you wait (and save Money) for 2 more years, you will be able to afford the bike that you want (Like Ninja 250) and then be able to legally register it too!

The only motorcycles that meet your expectations are the Cagiva Mito or the Aprilia rs125. Both bikes will make 100mph (160kph) derestricted and on a flat, but both bikes are above your price range.

have you looked at the Honda CBR125RR. We dont get it here in the US but I have heard its popular in europe. I have seen pictures of it and its a very good looking bike, at first glance you would think its a 600RR
