Road Star Warrior keeps dying

Just bought the bike a few weeks ago. At random, but a few times a day, when I blip the throttle to downshift or just put the clutch in, the engine dies. The dealer thought the idle was a little low so they set it a little higher but the problem persists. What happens, is when the revs drop, it goes below idle and almost dies before returning back up to idle. Most of the time it just drops down to idle (about 800-900 rpm), but every once in a while it drops down too far and just dies. I was wondering if there were any other Warrior owners with similar problems.

Thanks,

Tony

Did you by chance buy it from a guy named Vector?

Did you buy the bike new?
If yes, how many tanks of fuel have you ridden through?

New bikes have an anti-corrosion chemical in the fuel tanks and need to be fully filled up before riding to dilute the chemical. This will cause "hiccups" and rough idle but should not last very long.

If used, does it have aftermarket exhaust?
