I found that the ducati dealer near me has a 2006 multistrada 620 that is yellow. apparently it is a discontinued color. I like it alot but I am not sure how much I should try to get the dealer to go down to (if I can at all). They said it is on sale because they cant sell it for some reason (maybe cause of the color????). It only has 6 miles on it. I know the "MSRP" is $8,495 but I am not sure what I should expect or ask for OTD. Any help would be appreciated on how to go about doing this as my wife is thinking of getting a scooter (yes I scored a point buwhahahaha).

*edit oh and I am waiting on their quote for what the sale price is.
I was thinking of offering $8500 OTD including helmet/jacket and gloves.

You can buy an invoice price on the bike at http://www.cyclebuy.com/. It costs $13. It really didn't help my negotiations much but, they came right out and told you that they can't sell the one you're looking at. Might be worth a shot. Good Luck!

I agree with ScoutMedic, go in and see if they'll take the 8500 with goodies thrown in.

well thanks for the advice. i went back in to look at it again and it is $7500 not including all the extra tax title etc fees. My wife and I talked it over and we decided to wait on it until I get my MSF course out of the way. that way I can drive it home instead of tow it.
